The Gal who Started the Recall put this all in to motion Long before the Lincoln County Watch group got involved.
The Lincoln County Watch Group is about keeping an eye on your neighbor and looking out for each other, I have personally been to a couple of meetings and it is not Anti-Government, it is not what folks like Michael Jamison of the Missoulian or Marianne Roose would have you Believe. These Folks are NOT to be Feared. There are some very Smart people there with all kinds of backgrounds, degrees, life experience and personal beliefs.
The Petition to Recall the Lincoln County Sheriff was Started Long ago. It simply took this long to get through the hoops necessary to even start something like this.
The gal who started the Lincoln County Recall was NOT part of the Lincoln County watch, nor did she even Know Paul Stramer or Ginny Emerson.
I knew that Diane Kaechele was involved in the Dog Hanging and beating to death and no prosecution. I knew that Diane was concerned with the Rapes and other Crimes NOT being Prosecuted. I wanted her to get more attention to her Wonderful efforts. I was going to the Lincoln County Watch meeting for the first time and I called her and invited her.
She went to Them and talked about what she had going on, what the Crisis Center was Facing, What was happening with the Dog Murder and the Rapes, and the group talked of other folks who had called the Sheriff and got no help. This first meeting is the One I videoed that folks like Michael Jamison are saying the GROUP posted those videos.. not true.. I posted those Videos, Diane Kaechele is in those videos talking to the group for the Very First Time.
Many folks that were at that meeting were there for the first time and only for that time. The newspaper paints it out to be that the Lincoln County Recall is about Political Agenda and it is about Paul Stramer and the Lincoln County Watch, and they are saying it is radical, anti-government groups and this is a Flat Out Lie.
When they heard about what was happening to women here they simply said what can we do and gave their support. We are thankful for this. However, this Diane Kaechele gal, she is the one who got 1500 signatures on a petition about the dog murder, she is the one who wanted to do this recall and those helping her are bringing law, know how, and support and they are Not the Ones that were pushing for this in the beginning. So those saying the Recall is about getting our own Sheriff in, well that is not true. I am sure folks have ideas of a Sheriff, so what ... that will be up to the People, the Voters to decide and has nothing to do with the REAL agenda of the Lincoln County Sheriff Recall. We don't care who is Sheriff as long as they Really do their Job.
The Recall Petition to Recall Sheriff Anderson in Libby Montana is about the Fact that Crimes, horrible crimes, over the last decade have gone unpunished, un-prosecuted year after year. It is about FIRING someone for not doing their job. And that firing will be done by you the Voters that Hired Him.
If you Truly feel that Daryl Anderson, Lincoln County Sheriff is doing a Good Job and has really investigated all crimes thoroughly and to the best of his ability, well then don't sign the Lincoln County Sheriff Recall It is up to you. And if this recall is unsuccessful well then the People will have Spoken. And in turn the people have to live with their decision.
The Lincoln County Watch has NOTHING to do with the Lincoln County Recall. The Recall folks reached out to other groups because of common ground.
Yes now some folks are part of both, so what, We have a Common Goal and that is to Stand up for Montana Victims Rights and some of those Victims are Animals, some are Children, and many are Good Men and Woman that do not deserve what public opinion and lack of crimes being prosecuted is giving them.
