What Really Happened Last Week in Montana - the Obama Visit
This Was Emailed to Me, I have also heard from Others who went to See Obama in Montana... More on that Later.. Here is Todays Story Sent To me.. You may Have Got it too.. Note on this I went to the Rehberg Listening Session and MONTANA is not Hot on the Idea of Government Health Care.. not the Majority. .. I just don't see ..
Hello All,
By now you have probably heard that President Obama came to Montana last Friday. However, there are many things that the major news has not covered. I feel that since Bill and I live here and we were at theairport on Friday I should share some facts with you.
On Wednesday, August 5th it was announced locally that the Presidentwould be coming here. There are many groups here that are against hishealthcare and huge spending so those groups began talking and decidingon what they were going to do. The White House would not release ANYdetails other than the date.
On about Tuesday Bill found out that they would be holding the "Town Hall" at the airport. (This is only because Bill knows EVERYONE at the airport) Our airport is actually located outside of Belgrade (tinytown) in a very remote location. Nothing is around there. They chose to use a hangar that is the most remotely located hangar. You could not pick a more remote location, and you can not get to it easily. It is totally secluded from the public.
FYI: We have many areas in Belgrade and Bozeman which could have held a large amount of folks with sufficient parking.(gymnasiums/auditoriums). All of which have chairs and tables, and would not have to be SHIPPED IN!! $$$$$
During the week, cargo by the TONS was being shipped in constantly.
Airport employees could not believe how it just kept coming. Though it was our President coming several expressed how excessive it was, especially during a recession. $$$$$ Late Tuesday/early Wednesday the 12th, they said that tickets would behanded out on Thursday 9am at two locations and the president would bearriving around 12:30 Friday.
Thursday morning about 600 tickets were passed out. However, 1500 were printed at a Local printing shop per White House request. Hmmmm......900 tickets just DISAPPEARED. This same morning someone called into the radio from the local UPS branch and said that THOUSANDS of Dollars of Lobster were shipped infor Obama.
Montana has some of the best beef in the nation!!! And itwould have been really wonderful to help out the local economy. Anyone heard of the Recession?? Just think...with all of the traveling theWhite House is doing. $$$$$ One can only imagine what else we arepaying for. On Friday Bill and I got out to the airport about 10:45am.
The groups that wanted to protest Obama's spending and healthcare had gotten a permit to protest and that area was roped off. But that was not to be. A large bus carrying SEIU (Service Employees International Union)members drove up onto the area (illegal)and unloaded right there. It was quite a commotion and there were specifically 2 SEIU men trying to make trouble and start a fight. Police did get involved and arrested the one man but they said they did not have the manpower to remove the SEIU crowd. The SEIU crowd was very organized and young. About 99% were under the age of 30 and they were not locals!
They had bullhorns andPROFESSIONALLY made signs. Some even wore preprinted T-shirts. Oh, andPlanned Parenthood folks were with them.....professing abortion rights with their T-shirts and preprinted signs. (BTW, all these folks didhave a permit to protest in ANOTHER area) Those against healthcare / spending moved away from the SEIU crowd to avoid confrontation.
They were orderly and respectful. Even though SEIU kept coming over and walking through, continuing to be very intimidating and aggressive at the direction of the one SEIU man. So we had Montana folks from ALL OVER the state with their homemade signs and their DOGS with homemade signs.
We had cowboys, nurses, doctors you name it. There was even a guy from Texas who had been driving through. He found out about the occasion, went to the store, made a sign, and came to protest. If you are wondering about the press.....Well, all of the major networks were over by that remote hangar I mentioned.
They were conveniently parked on the other side of the buildings FAR away. None of these crowds were even visible to them. I have my doubts that they knew anything about the crowds. We did have some local news media around us from this state and Idaho. Speaking of the local media...they were invited. However, all questions were to be turned into the White House in advance of the event. Wouldn't want anyone to have to think off the top of their head.
It was very obvious that it was meant to be totally controlled by the White House. Everything was orchestrated down to the last detail to make it appear that Montana is just crazy for Obama and government health care. Even those people that talked about their insurancewoes.........the White House called our local HRDC (Human Resource and Development Committee) and asked for names. Then the White House askedthose folks to come. Smoke and mirrors...EVERYTHING wasstaged!!!!!!!!!!! I am very dismayed about what I learned about our current White House. The amount of control and manipulation was unbelievable.
I felt I was not living in the United States of America, more like the USSR!! I was physically nauseous. Bill and I have been around when Presidents or Heads of State visit. It has NEVER been like this. I am truly very frightened for our country. America needs your prayers and your voices. If you care about our country please get involved. Know the issues.
And let Congress hear your voices again and again!! If they are willing toput forth so much effort to BULLY a small town one can only imaginewhat is going on in Washington DC. Scary!!

Well so Anderson can just act like he really is doing a Good Job.. Well in Between Wife Beatings.. that is.. he might try here and there.. but I am NOT buying it.. I have lived here to long.. talked to to many victims.. I see NO Justice, ONLY Politics.

As I watch the Media, the Hate, the Politicians put the Limelight of Hate and Agenda on One Man.. while at the same time I get call after call, emails, chats, messages.. from victims.. and through Diane Kaechele paper trail I have seen a HUGE amount of Real Crimes that are recorded and no prosecution, that on top of the Rapes, and other crimes that are denied to even exist.. YET they Really REALLY do Exist.. why lie.. what could possibly be the motive?

Even 2 years ago I would have believed the Local Law, Politicians, Paper, Missoulian, and local Judges.. possibly I would not have just believed one or two.. I was seriously hesitant about going to a Lincoln County Watch meeting because of Paul Stramer and what I had heard all these years, but we needed to let more people know about the Rapes, about the Crimes and Victims we were hearing about and so we went there.

It was a Packed house, probably mostly because so many of us have really seen the Denied Military activity here and people wanted to share their stories. After the Recall and all this Mumbo Jumbo those folks stopped coming, either because they believed the Lies being told or were scared of their businesses being boycotted. The Truth is so Taboo here.. that we must hide it or loose our business, possible our home, jobs, and possibly even our family.

What is So Wrong with Want people to Obey the Law? If we don't allow or ask questions, how do we get answers? Why in the world are you paying law enforcement to protect you and Enforce the Law when they do not. Michael Jamison said he Doesn’t Use a Recorder, are You Kidding Me? Don’t all Reporters use a Recorder when taking an interview. I see reporters at events recording it, I see Reporters Record Interviews.. How else would they POSSIBLY remember what to write unless they just Make it Up or have other Planned Agendas.
Michael Jamison Starts right out saying he does not use a Recorder, so we can pretty much guess that his “take” on all this will be inaccurate Right?
I personally believe, in my Personal opinion that Michael Jamison planned to and did tape this call as well. He just was not going to admit it. Paul Stramer Being an Honorable man asked the Reporter for Permission to Tape the Call.
So funny to me, Paul Stramer graciously allows Michael Jamison to interview him and then he makes him out to look like a hateful, vengeful monster. He is allowed the interview and then he simply trashes the man.. Don’t give Michael Jamison an interview for ANY Reason.
If your just NOT into what Sheriff Mack has to say, well then you totally agree with your Law Enforcement not following their oath of office, not upholding the law and basically just running amok while you pay them. Sheriff Mack is simply about Cops actually Obeying the Law and upholding their Oath. Is that to much to ask for? Is that To Out There?
If you don’t believe we have a loss of Freedom then you don’t know what is going on in Flathead County, Lincoln County, Sanders County, Gallatin County, and Ravalli County – and that is just what I know so far. We have no rights, Judges, Cops, Law Enforcement are not acting or judging within the scope of the Law. Richard Mack, and supporting what he has to say is simply saying No to “Tyranny” – Yes Local Terrorism and Cops - Law Enforcement acting outside of the law that our government put into place to Protect Us.
If you don’t like what Sheriff Mack has to say then your not into being a Law abiding Citizen or have those laws enforced. It is that Simply, no Big Mystery or Conspiracy, Just the Facts.
Coincidental, and Perhaps that is all it is, says Michael Jamison. We are trying to Recall the Sheriff, ya know Michael Jamison sounds like a snake to me, he is not after the truth, he is baiting Paul, and then he still printed a twisted version of Reality. Almost as if that was his plan all along.. Perhaps it is just coincidental. So why Bother Calling, the story was seemingly already written.

What the Media, the Local Law, Detectives and Judges are doing to Paul Stramer is a Serious Fascination to me, it is blowing my mind. Welcome GITMO in Montana
Hamilton, Montana- For a group who have pressed justice to the last two administrations, with success, we ask that the US Justice Department, and President Obama seek out The Two Rivers Detention Center in Hardin, Montana as the new home, and sanctuary of Justice for the detainees of Guantanamo Bay, Cuba.
We believe in a “trickle down” Justice, and if the world’s attention is focused on Montana, we believe the justice abuses that have been documented in our state will only improve with the backing of the US Justice Department, world viewers, and the US Court System of Justice. Hardin, in Bighorn County Montana is a mere 46 miles to the nearest US Court in Billings, MT.
We applaud the Obama Administration for bringing justice to the GITMO detainees in Montana; it is the safest location for both US residents, and detainees.
US Senator Max Baucus does not wholeheartedly speak for the constituents of this state, he is a national senator similar to John McCain of Arizona. We need industry, we need justice. Bring the prisoners to Hardin, MT. These prisoners are political, not dangerous.
In the words of Greg Smith, Two Rivers Authority, “it is our patriotic duty to house these detainees…” and to bring them true justice.
We agree. Some very suspicious events transpired regarding this event, and the world media may not have “connected the dots”, a problem our government had prior to September, 11, 2001.
The Chief Justice of the US Supreme Court spoke on September 13, 2007 at the University of Montana Law School.
Two days later, the Montana Bar Association, (clearly not interested in justice in Montana) issued a release two days later urging President Bush to release the GITMO detainees. President Obama consulted with the then Crow Agency Head during his campaign, and at the time of his death some months ago, the entire Montana Congressional Delegation from Washington, DC attended his funeral.
This arrangement in Hardin was likely set up nearly two years ago. For a state that was ranked 48th in the nation for Justice in September 2007 as reported by National Public Radio, we seek the detainees to shed justice on sovereign US soil known as Montana. Bringing the GITMO detainees to our state will bring a world audience, and world class justice, something these detainees, and Montana residents deserve.
These detainees are not the kind that would require the maximum security. From the publication My Guantanamo Diary it indicates that most of these detainees were merely seeking business in Pakistan to be picked up by the Pakistani Army, only to be sold to the US Military as “suspects”.
We reject the idea that the Billings Courthouse would have to be reconstructed, nor the jail inappropriate for housing these “suspects”. Billings, MT is a short flight from Denver, Colorado and would be central to the lawyers who may defend these suspects.
Easy access for the defense will facilitate justice. Since the trickle-down stimulus does not seem to be working in the nation, it is time to try direct investment, and direct due process in Montana. Our web -sites as listed as the informational section of this press release have caused more than 30,000 Americans to reject Montana as a tourism or investment due to its justice issue. Our intention was to create justice in Montana, not hinder commerce.
A way for the Obama Administration to directly inject a stimulus into our economy is to provide jobs in Hardin, and indirectly provide justice with the attention the court proceedings would bring. Members of our group have also been picked up on false warrants, had property seized without warrant, and been the victim of prosecutorial and equal protection violations.
Our Highway Patrol does not issue test scores for recruits, and engaged in a criminal scheme with our county attorney, a local paper (whose parent company also owns the Billings Gazette) to prosecute victims of crime. Talking points do not cure injustice; indictments do. We hope to learn from the detainees, and honor their courage.
We want justice to be served for them, and us; two groups who have been served injustice. We read in My Guantanamo Diary how there is no justice, there are no rights, and there is no way to change the situation. We have been dealt the same, without the physical torture; however psychological torture, coupled with law enforcement abuses can break any person. Secretary of the Interior Salazar made a speech in Helena, MT yesterday about the $3M injection into our park system, and mentioning how tourism is a major source of funds for Montana.
If a river of injustice flows through it, nobody will come, Mr. Salazar. We have been a voice in the wilderness, one which have brought top Justice officials from the US and Canada. If US Senator Max Baucus (D-MT) is shielding constitutional criminals in Montana, no number of speeches will change due process issues.
This is not about professional adjustment; this is about crimes against the US constitution where the perpetrators need to be incarcerated, and those detainees and US citizens who reside in Montana given injustice a breath of fresh air.
Let the Hardin prison set us free. It all begins when the World tunes into Montana, where justice will redirect us from the forays our Nation thought was the best course.

Michael Spreadbury to run for Hamilton, MT Mayor
Michael Spreadbury to run for Hamilton, MT Mayor Hamilton, Montana- The race for Mayor of Hamilton, Montana is presently between an non-elected incumbent and a challenger.
The challenger is Michael Spreadbury, an advocate for equal protection under the law, and local watchdog for the people. Spreadbury is a strong advocate of justice; when a felony crime was committed in the City of Hamilton and covered up by law enforcement, and the current council, he voiced his concern.
The Federal Bureau of Investigation is retraining the Hamilton Police Chief for this act in 2007. In the Montana Code, it states powers of the Mayor (MCA 7-32-4103) which is supervision of the police department.
Hamilton police officers have been acting outside the jurisdiction of the City of Hamilton; this can be attributed to a deficiency in the acting Mayor, Jerry E. Steele. Candidate Michael Spreadbury has experience as a federal officer working with law enforcement, and fire personnel from around the United States. As Mayor, the duties of coordination and supervision of the police department will come as second nature.
The voters of the city of Hamilton asked the council and mayor to have an election for a city treasurer. This was not accomplished. To deny the will of the voter goes against Article II section I of the Montana Constitution: popular sovereignty (all power to the voters). It also violates free speech, or 1st amendment protections.
Michael Spreadbury has entered this race to attempt equal justice under the law, and to return the city government of Hamilton back to the people, where it belongs. The City of Hamilton has seen great annexations of land which has lost sight of its city boundaries, and responsibilities. It is time for a true public servant to enter as Mayor of Hamilton, one with trusted public service and dedication of service.
Our last mayor resigned due to non-cooperation with the council, and also non-supervision of the local law enforcement. The voters of the City of Hamilton, Montana deserve a choice that is fundamentally different than the status quo. The incumbent Jerry E. Steele has served as city councilor and acting Mayor.
He has shown his capabilities and fell short. Candidate for Mayor Michael Spreadbury is ready to put his best foot forward for the city of Hamilton. It is time for a great Mayor to bring justice and prosperity to the people.

the Ravalli County Sheriff Office - Montana Accountability in Law Enforcement WATCH..
Recently, a "large sum of ammunition" was stolen from the Ravalli County Sheriff Office. This shows that the deputies of Ravalli County cannot be trusted with justice, safety, or protecting citizens of Ravalli County.

Is Hamilton Montana a legal entity? By Michael Howell
Is Hamilton a legal entity? It’s a question that keeps surfacing at Hamilton City Hall. The Local Government Review Study Commission raised the issue back in 2005. It’s been a constant refrain from one Hamilton resident, Michael Spreadbury, who recently declared his candidacy for Mayor. It popped up recently once again during public comment on a recent resolution concerning zoning policy.
The idea is that since there are no incorporation papers on file with the State of Montana establishing the City of Hamilton as an incorporated city, then it is not one. And, therefore, it is not a legitimate legal entity and has no authority to make or enforce any laws.
In September of 2005 the Local Government Review Study Commission wrote the County Clerk and Recorder about their concerns. After a futile search for Articles of Incorporation for the city in state records, the group found, after consulting with the Attorney General’s office, that municipalities do not form corporations the way other businesses do by filing with the state.
“Instead, the incorporation would be done by the actual citizens themselves, first with a petition, and then through the election process,” the letter states.
In a letter to the Hot Springs City Attorney in August, 2005, Assistant Attorney General Candace West made this point clear in her advice in relation to the legal status of Hot Springs. The city attorney had asked about its status, since it had acted as an incorporated city for 80 years but had never filed incorporation papers with the Secretary of State’s Office.
West wrote that “your question arises from a local government study that led to an erroneous inquiry regarding the current status of the municipality with the Secretary of State’s Office… Quite simply put, the city did not fail to register its incorporated status with the Secretary of State’s Office because there is no requirement to do so.”
West then outlines the procedure by which people may petition a county to hold an election to form a municipality. It requires a house-to-house census and must involve over 300 inhabitants, and other restrictions.
The Hamilton Study Commission accepted this interpretation but then expressed concern about the local county records.
The only evidence of that process having taken place, that they could find, was a couple of pages of handwritten notes in the Commissioners Journal of July 16, 1894. In those notes A.M. Mittower approved the boundary description of the town and referred to the successful election in favor of incorporation.
The Study Commission called the evidence of the commissioners’ journal “compelling” but questioned why other evidence, such as the actual petition or a canvass of records of the vote, is not to be found.
In response to the issue City Clerk Rose Allen is attempting to compile copies of all records that can be found related to the city’s founding days. Some were on file at the County. Some were found in newspaper articles of the day preserved in the Ravalli County Museum. Some are in the city vault.
Aside from the Commissioners’ Journal there is also, in the city vault, the original Book of Minutes with records of every city council meeting. The first meeting was held on September 24, 1894. There is also an Ordinance Book showing the Town’s boundaries at the time. It is followed by ordinances creating wards and creating the positions of town officers and the form of government.
“If there was no petition and no election then why would one of the County Commissioners note on July 16, 1894 that there was a successful election to incorporate Hamilton?” asked Allen. As to why there is no official petition on file or canvass report for the vote, Allen shrugs. Things get lost sometimes.
“But just because you may not have an official birth certificate, does that mean that you weren’t born?” she asks.
Convinced that the elections must have happened, Allen went to the Ravalli County Museum to search through old newspapers and found a little more evidence, although admittedly not the kind of documentation being sought by critics.
In the July 18, 1894 edition of the Western News it states:
“At the incorporation election held at the school house last Saturday, 107 votes were cast, 102 being for incorporation, three against and two ballots thrown out on account of improper marking.
This is conclusive evidence that the people of Hamilton want incorporation. The commissioners for canvass, who will order the election of town officers to be held thirty days after canvassing the vote.”
Allen thinks the circumstantial evidence is compelling that Hamilton was incorporated in 1894, whether or not the actual petition or canvassing records are ever found.
Allen also remarked that the county itself faced allegations recently that it was not a legal entity because there was no documentation of it having changed its form of government to the one that it now holds. In that case the court found that the county, primarily due to the fact that it operated as a certain form of government for over a hundred years, was a legal entity.
“We’ve been operating as an incorporated city for over a 100 years and we are going to continue to do so,” said Allen.
Hamilton won’t zone outside city limits

At a special meeting last Tuesday, June 9, the Hamilton City Council passed a resolution proclaiming in no uncertain terms that it has no intention of doing any extra-territorial zoning outside the city limits. The resolution was meant to address the fears, expressed by several county residents at the last meeting when the Council adopted a growth policy, that the city planned on extending its zoning powers outside the city limits. The Growth Policy adopted showed a planning area extending two miles outside the city limits.
Mayor Jerry Steele said that the city has never had the intention of zoning outside the city limits. He said that if they did it could have been done so at any time after adopting a growth policy in 2003. But instead, the City passed an ordinance explicitly limiting its jurisdiction for zoning matters to within the city limits.
That ordinance is currently on the books. But he was willing to entertain a resolution stating that it was also the City’s policy not to zone outside the city limits if it would help allay the fears expressed by some county residents when it adopted an amended growth policy the previous week.
The proposed resolution originally read “it is the policy of the Hamilton City Council to zone only property within the city limits and not to extend zoning beyond the present City limits except in those cases where property owners voluntarily request to annex property to the City, where property is entirely surrounded by the City or in order to preserve the health, safety and welfare of the residents of the City of Hamilton.”
However, Councilor Nancy Hendrickson quickly raised an objection about the wording and suggested putting the last phrase, about health, safety and welfare, at the beginning of the sentence instead of the end. Councilor Joe Petrusaitis agreed and then suggested that it might even be left out completely.
Special Projects Director Dennis Stranger said that the language was put in there by the City Attorney in case of an emergency.
Hendrickson said that she understood Stranger’s explanation but agreed with Petrusaitis that the words should be stricken from the resolution. Petrusaitis seconded the amendment and it passed unanimously.
There was some discussion about the Growth Policy being only a planning document with no regulatory powers, but being necessary to guide planning of the City’s infrastructure.
Several county residents expressed concern about the extension of a planning area to the county. Some claimed to have been unaware that the Growth Policy was being considered and that it might include them. Some expressed appreciation to the council for clarifying their intent not to zone outside the city limits with the new resolution.

Dear Attorney General Bullock,
Now we have proof that Ravalli County law enforcement are capable of crime. This organization was founded on the fact that law enforcement engage in criminal acts. By stealing large quantities of ammunition in-house, the criminals are your law enforcement units.
Is it time to elevate the state of Montana above it's 48th ranking? When law enforcement rob, steal, rape, make victims of crime into perpetrators, the buck stops with you.
With respect to Lincoln County alleged rapes by law enforcement, we never saw any provision to take culpability for such allegations. Rape kit evidence speak for themselves. Within the Montana Recall Act (MCA 2-16-600 et seq.) asks for a sworn statement of 200 words. Otherwise it is called entrapment. I think your department can do better.
Please be proud of your corporate and status filled term as as our elected official. We would like you to put your education and skills to work to protect Montanans. Can you do accomplish your legal responsibilities as AG?

The challenger is Michael Spreadbury, an advocate for equal protection under the law, and local watchdog for the people. Spreadbury is a strong advocate of justice; when a felony crime was committed in the City of Hamilton and covered up by law enforcement, and the current council, he voiced his concern.
The Federal Bureau of Investigation is retraining the Hamilton Police Chief for this act in 2007. In the Montana Code, it states powers of the Mayor (MCA 7-32-4103) which is supervision of the police department.
Hamilton Police Officers have been acting outside the jurisdiction of the City of Hamilton; this can be attributed to a deficiency in the acting Mayor, Jerry E. Steele. Candidate Michael Spreadbury has experience as a federal officer working with law enforcement, and fire personnel from around the United States. As Mayor, the duties of coordination and supervision of the police department will come as second nature.
The voters of the city of Hamilton asked the council and mayor to have an election for a city treasurer. This was not accomplished. To deny the will of the voter goes against Article II section I of the Montana Constitution: popular sovereignty (all power to the voters). It also violates free speech, or 1st amendment protections. Michael Spreadbury has entered this race to attempt equal justice under the law, and to return the city government of Hamilton back to the people, where it belongs.
The City of Hamilton has seen great annexations of land which has lost sight of its city boundaries, and responsibilities. It is time for a true public servant to enter as Mayor of Hamilton, one with trusted public service and dedication of service.
Our last mayor resigned due to non-cooperation with the council, and also non-supervision of the local law enforcement. The voters of the City of Hamilton, Montana deserve a choice that is fundamentally different than the status quo. Jerry E. Steele has served as city councilor and acting Mayor. He has shown his capabilities and fell short. Candidate for Mayor Michael Spreadbury is ready to put his best foot forward for the city of Hamilton. It is time for a great Mayor to bring justice and prosperity to the people.
